'By the three sciences of diplomacy/statecraft, when perfectly employed, the journey of the world/society is guided/regulated.' ।। 3-149-31 ।।

सा चेद धर्मक्रिया न सयात तरयीधर्मम ऋते भुवि दण्डनीतिम ऋते चापि निर्मर्यादम इदं भवेत ।। ३-१४९-३२ ।।

'When these callings are properly followed, the world is easily sustained. However, if people do not live righteously, the world becomes lawless due to the absence of Vedic merit and proper governance.' ।। 3-149-32 ।।

वार्ता धर्मे हय अवर्तन्त्यॊ विनश्येयुर इमाः परजाः सुप्रवृत्तैर तरिभिर हय एतैर धर्मैः सूयन्ति वै परजाः ।। ३-१४९-३३ ।।

'If people fail to follow their prescribed vocations, they perish. However, by faithfully adhering to the three professions, they uphold righteousness. The religion of the Brahmanas is rooted in the knowledge of the soul, and the nature of their order is universally consistent.' ।। 3-149-33 ।।
