याजनाध्यापने चॊभे बराह्मणानां परतिग्रहः पालनं कषत्रियाणां वै वैश्य धर्मश च पॊषणम ॥ ३-१४९-३५ ॥

'The Brahmana’s duties are officiating at sacrifices, teaching, and accepting gifts. The Kshatriya’s duty is to rule the people, while the Vaisya is tasked with tending cattle.' ।। 3-149-35 ।।
