परसीद नास्ति मे शक्तिर उत्थातुं जरयानघ ममानुकम्पया तव एतत पुच्छम उत्सार्य गम्यताम ।। ३-१४७-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Relent, O sinless one. Due to my age, I lack the strength to rise. Out of pity for me, move aside my tail and go.' ।। 3-147-16 ।।

english translation

parasIda nAsti me zaktira utthAtuM jarayAnagha mamAnukampayA tava etata pucchama utsArya gamyatAma || 3-147-16 ||

'Then, with both arms, he tried to lift it, resembling a pole erected in honor of Indra. Yet, the mighty Bhima could not raise the tail, despite his full strength.' ।। 3-147-18 ।।
