निरीक्षन्तम अवित्रस्तं लॊचनैर मधुपिङ्गलैः तं वानरवरं वीरम अतिकायं महाबलम ।। ३-१४६-७१ ।।

'The slayer of foes cast glances with eyes reddened by intoxication. The wise Bhima, noticing the mighty chief of monkeys, of immense stature, lying in the forest like the great Himalayas, blocking the path to heaven, observed him alone in that vast wilderness.' ।। 3-146-71 ।।

'Hearing Bhima's shout, both beasts and birds were filled with fear. However, the mighty Hanuman, partially opening his eyes, looked at him with disdain, his eyes reddened as if from intoxication.' ।। 3-146-73 ।।
