ननु नाम तवया कार्या दया भूतेषु जानता वयं धर्मं न जानीमस तिर्यग्यॊनिं समाश्रिताः ।। ३-१४६-७५ ।।

sanskrit

'You should show kindness to all creatures, as it is fitting for those endowed with reason. We, belonging to the animal species, are ignorant of virtue. But those who possess reason, like yourself, should act with compassion towards all beings.' ।। 3-146-75 ।।

english translation

nanu nAma tavayA kAryA dayA bhUteSu jAnatA vayaM dharmaM na jAnImasa tiryagyòniM samAzritAH || 3-146-75 ||
