निरीक्षन्तम अवित्रस्तं लॊचनैर मधुपिङ्गलैः तं वानरवरं वीरम अतिकायं महाबलम ।। ३-१४६-७१ ।।

sanskrit

'The slayer of foes cast glances with eyes reddened by intoxication. The wise Bhima, noticing the mighty chief of monkeys, of immense stature, lying in the forest like the great Himalayas, blocking the path to heaven, observed him alone in that vast wilderness.' ।। 3-146-71 ।।

english translation

nirIkSantama avitrastaM lòcanaira madhupiGgalaiH taM vAnaravaraM vIrama atikAyaM mahAbalama || 3-146-71 ||
