[र] इहागतॊ जटिलॊ बरह्म चारी; न वै हरस्वॊ नातिदीर्घॊ मनॊ वी सुवर्णवर्णः कमलायताक्षः; सुतः सुराणाम इव शॊभमानः ॥ ३-११२-१ ॥
'Rishyasringa said, "Today, a religious student arrived, adorned with a mass of hair. He was neither short nor tall, possessing a spirited expression and a golden complexion. His eyes were large and lotus-like, and he radiated the grace and brilliance of a god."' ॥ 3-112-1 ॥

समृद्धरूपः सवितेव दीप्तः; सुशुक्लकृष्णाक्ष तरश चकॊरैः नीलाः परसन्नाश च जटाः सुगन्धा; हिरण्यरज्जु गरथिताः सुदीर्घाः ॥ ३-११२-२ ॥
'His beauty was rich and radiant, like the blazing sun; he had a fair complexion with elegant black eyes. His twisted hair was blue-black, long, neat, and fragrant, adorned with golden threads.' ॥ 3-112-2 ॥

आधार रूपा पुनर अस्य कण्ठे; विभ्राजते विद्युद इवान्तरिक्षे दवौ चास्य पिण्डाव अधरेण कण्ठम; अजातरॊमौ सुमनॊहरौ च ॥ ३-११२-३ ॥
'A beautiful ornament gleamed on his neck, resembling lightning in the sky. Beneath his throat, he had two smooth, hairless fleshy mounds, each possessing an exquisite form.' ॥ 3-112-3 ॥

विलग्नमध्यश च स नाभिदेशे; कतिश च तस्यातिकृत परमाणा अथास्य चीरान्तर इता परभाति; हिरन मयी मेखला मे यथेयम ॥ ३-११२-४ ॥
'His waist was remarkably slender, and his navel was well-defined; the area around his ribs was also smooth. Moreover, a golden cord gleamed beneath his garment, resembling the waist-string I wear.' ॥ 3-112-4 ॥

अन्यच च तस्याद्भुत दर्शनीयं; विकूजितं पादयॊः संप्रभाति पाण्यॊश च तद्वत सवनवन निबद्धौ; कलापकाव अक्षमाला यथेयम ॥ ३-११२-५ ॥
'On his feet were ornaments of exquisite design that produced a delightful jingling sound. Similarly, his wrists were adorned with matching ornaments that resembled this rosary. As he walked, the ornaments jingled like the joyful sounds made by geese gliding across the water.' ॥ 3-112-5 ॥
