वेदान एकेन सॊ ऽधीते सुराम एकेन चापिबत एकेन च दिशः सर्वाः पिबन्न इव निरीक्षते ।। ५-९-५ ।।

sanskrit

‘He read the Vedas with one mouth, drank wine with the second, and gazed with the third as though he could encompass all the cardinal directions.’ ।। 5-9-5 ।।

english translation

vedAna ekena sò 'dhIte surAma ekena cApibata ekena ca dizaH sarvAH pibanna iva nirIkSate || 5-9-5 ||
