शस्त्राणि पत्रं कवचान्रथांश्च नागान्ध्वजांश्च प्रतिपादयित्वा । योधाश्च सर्वे कृतनिश्रमास्ते भवन्तु हस्त्यश्वरथेषु यत्ताः । सांग्रामिकं ते यदुपार्जनीयं सर्वं समग्रं कुरु तन्नरेन्द्र॥५-७१-३६॥
Having arranged weapons, armour-plates, cuirasses, chariots, elephants, and standards, let all your warriors—rested from exertion—remain prepared on elephants, horses, and chariots. Whatever resources for the conduct of war you must procure, make them complete, O king.

दुर्योधनो न ह्यलमद्य दातुं जीवंस्तवैतन्नृपते कथंचित् । यत्ते पुरस्तादभवत्समृद्धं द्यूते हृतं पाण्डवमुख्य राज्यम्॥५-७१-३७॥
So long as Duryodhana lives, O king, he is in no way willing to restore to you that prosperous sovereignty which was once yours and was taken in the dice-game, O foremost of the Pāṇḍavas.
