मध्ये राज्ञामहं तत्र प्रातिपौरुषिकान्गुणान् । तव संकीर्तयिष्यामि ये च तस्य व्यतिक्रमाः॥५-७१-२६॥
There, in the midst of the kings, I will recount your personal virtues and valor, and also the transgressions he has committed.

ब्रुवतस्तत्र मे वाक्यं धर्मार्थसहितं हितम् । निशम्य पार्थिवाः सर्वे नानाजनपदेश्वराः॥५-७१-२७॥
When they hear my words spoken there—beneficial, and grounded in dharma and artha—all the rulers, lords of diverse realms, will listen with close attention.

त्वयि संप्रतिपत्स्यन्ते धर्मात्मा सत्यवागिति । तस्मिंश्चाधिगमिष्यन्ति यथा लोभादवर्तत॥५-७१-२८॥
They will come to regard you as righteous in disposition and truthful in speech; and they will also understand how he acted out of greed.

गर्हयिष्यामि चैवैनं पौरजानपदेष्वपि । वृद्धबालानुपादाय चातुर्वर्ण्यसमागमे॥५-७१-२९॥
And I will censure him also among citizens and countryfolk, assembling elders and youths in gatherings of the four social orders.

शमं चेद्याचमानस्त्वं न धर्मं तत्र लप्स्यसे । कुरून्विगर्हयिष्यन्ति धृतराष्ट्रं च पार्थिवाः॥५-७१-३०॥
If you, while requesting conciliation, do not obtain dharma there, the kings will censure the Kurus—and Dhṛtarāṣṭra as well.
