O King, he was in truth defeated at that very moment when he became shameless; and, O great king, he was censured across the earth among all rulers.

english translation

The lawful removal of one whose conduct is such is but a slight necessity; he is like a tree held rigid by props, yet severed at the root.

english translation

That ignoble man, whose perverse judgment harms all people, is fit to be cut down like a serpent. Remove him, O slayer of foes; do not hesitate, O king.

english translation

In every way this is fitting for you and has my approval as well, O blameless one: that you should offer reverent obeisance to your father and to Bhīṣma.

english translation

But I will go and dispel the doubt of all, O king—of those whose minds remain divided concerning Duryodhana.
