ततः शयाने गॊविन्दे परविवेश सुयॊधनः उच्छीर्षतश च कृष्णस्य निषसाद वरासने ॥ ५-७-६ ॥
‘As Krishna lay in slumber, Duryodhana entered the chamber and took a seat upon a fine couch at the head of the bed. After him entered the diadem-bearer, the magnanimous Arjuna, who stood respectfully at the foot of the bed, bowing and joining his hands.’ ॥ 5-7-6 ॥

tataH zayAne gòvinde paraviveza suyòdhanaH ucchIrSataza ca kRSNasya niSasAda varAsane ॥ 5-7-6 ॥
