परवारणं तु बालानां पूर्वं कार्यम इति शरुतिः तस्मात परवारणं पूर्वम अर्हः पार्थॊ धनंजयः ॥ ५-७-१५ ॥
‘But it is also said that those who are junior in age are entitled to the first choice. Therefore, the son of Kunti, Dhananjaya, has the right to choose first.’ ॥ 5-7-15 ॥
