[व] गते दवारवतीं कृष्णे बलदेवे च माधवे सह वृष्ण्यन्धकैः सर्वैर भॊजैश च शतशस तथा ॥ ५-७-१ ॥
‘Krishna and Balarama, descendants of Madhu, proceeded to Dwaraka accompanied by all the Vrishnis, as well as the Andhakas and hundreds of Bhojas.’ ॥ 5-7-1 ॥
english translation
सर्वम आगमयाम आस पाण्डवानां विचेष्टितम धृतराष्ट्रात्मजॊ राजा दूतैः परणिहितैश चरैः ॥ ५-७-२ ॥
‘At the same time, the royal son of Dhritarashtra, by sending secret emissaries, kept himself fully informed of all the activities of the Pandavas.’ ॥ 5-7-2 ॥
english translation
स शरुत्वा माधवं यातं सदश्वैर अनिलॊपमैः बलेन नातिमहता दवारकाम अभ्ययात पुरीम ॥ ५-७-३ ॥
‘Upon learning that Krishna was on his way, the prince set out for the city of Dwaraka, mounted on fine horses as swift as the wind, taking with him a small contingent of troops.’ ॥ 5-7-3 ॥

तम एव दिवसं चापि कौन्तेयः पाण्डुनन्दनः आनर्तनगरीं रम्यां जगामाशु धनंजयः ॥ ५-७-४ ॥
‘On that very day, Dhananjaya, the son of Kunti and Pandu, also reached the beautiful city of Anarta with great speed.’ ॥ 5-7-4 ॥

तौ यात्वा पुरुषव्याघ्रौ दवारकां कुरुनन्दनौ सुप्तं ददृशतुः कृष्णं शयानं चॊपजग्मतुः ॥ ५-७-५ ॥
‘The two scions of the Kuru lineage, mighty as tigers among men, saw Krishna asleep upon their arrival and approached him quietly.’ ॥ 5-7-5 ॥
