सरितः सागरं प्राप्य यथा नश्यन्ति सर्वशः । तथैव ते विनङ्क्ष्यन्ति मामासाद्य सहान्वयाः॥५-६०-२६॥
Just as rivers, upon reaching the ocean, lose their separate existence entirely, so too will they, upon encountering me, be brought to dissolution—together with their lineages.

परा बुद्धिः परं तेजो वीर्यं च परमं मयि । परा विद्या परो योगो मम तेभ्यो विशिष्यते॥५-६०-२७॥
In me are supreme intelligence, supreme radiance, and supreme strength; my knowledge and disciplined capacity (yoga) are superior to theirs.

पितामहश्च द्रोणश्च कृपः शल्यः शलस्तथा । अस्त्रेषु यत्प्रजानन्ति सर्वं तन्मयि विद्यते॥५-६०-२८॥
Whatever the Grandsire, Droṇa, Kṛpa, Śalya, and Śala know regarding the disciplines of weapons—everything of that is present in me.

इत्युक्त्वा संजयं भूयः पर्यपृच्छत भारत । ज्ञात्वा युयुत्सुः कार्याणि प्राप्तकालमरिंदम॥५-६०-२९॥
Having said this, he again questioned Sañjaya, O Bhārata—intent on engagement and, having understood what needed to be done, acting at what he deemed the proper time, O subduer of foes.
