Whatever I continually intend—whether beneficial or harmful—has never before failed for me, whether aimed at allies or at adversaries.

english translation

And when I say, ‘This will occur,’ O scorcher of foes, it has never before turned out otherwise; people know me as one whose speech is true.

english translation

This greatness of mine is publicly attested and renowned in all directions. I have stated it to reassure you, O king, not out of self-praise.

english translation

For I have never been one given to boasting, O king. Indeed, it is improper conduct when a person praises himself.

english translation

You shall hear that the Pāṇḍavas, the Matsyas, the Pāñcālas together with the Kekayas, and also Sātyaki and Vāsudeva, have been overcome by me.
