“This debt, grown great, does not depart from my heart: that Kṛṣṇā cried out ‘Govinda!’ to me while I was far away.”

english translation

“He whose bow is the Gāṇḍīva—radiant and difficult to withstand—together with me as his second: with that Savyasācin you have incurred enmity here.”

english translation

O Pārtha, who would wish to challenge you again when I stand beside you as your second? Not even Purandara (Indra) himself—unless compelled by Time—would seek to do so.

english translation

One might, with his arms, lift the earth; when provoked, one might even lay these peoples to ruin; one might cast down the gods from Tridiva—yet I do not see who could defeat Arjuna in a strategic engagement.

english translation

Among gods, asuras, and humans; among yakṣas, gandharvas, and serpent-beings, I do not see anyone who could confront that Pāṇḍava in combat.
