That great and remarkable event spoken of in the city of Virāṭa is itself a sufficient demonstration of what one person can accomplish against many.

english translation

When, in the city of Virāṭa, the forces were routed and fled in all directions by a single son of Pāṇḍu—this is a sufficient demonstration.

english translation

Strength, valor, radiance, swiftness, dexterity, freedom from despondency, and steadfastness—these are found in Pārtha, and not elsewhere (to the same degree).

english translation

Sañjaya said: Thus Hṛṣīkeśa spoke, rousing Pārtha with his words—like Pākaśāsana (Indra) thundering in the sky as he sends rain in due season.

english translation

Having heard Keśava’s words, Arjuna—the diademed warrior, the one with the white-horsed chariot—spoke a weighty statement that stirred intense exhilaration.
