Once I have swiftly brought him down, many chariot-warriors—similar in form and yet distinguished—will quickly engage Arjuna, O bull of the Bharatas.

english translation

Bhīṣma, Droṇa, Kṛpa, Drauṇi, Karṇa, and Bhūriśravā; as well as the lord of Prāgjyotiṣa, Śalya, and the Sindhu king Jayadratha—

english translation

Each one of these is capable of slaying the Pāṇḍavas, O Bhārata. But taken together, they would in a moment send them to Yama’s domain.

english translation

The entire royal host, taken together, has no evident reason to be incapable of defeating the single Pārtha, Dhanañjaya; no rational ground for such inability is seen.

english translation

By volleys of arrows—by Bhīṣma in hundreds and thousands, and likewise by Droṇa, Drauṇi, and Kṛpa—Pārtha will be sent to Yama’s domain, to death.
