वचनात कुरु सिंहानां मत्स्यपाञ्चालयॊश च ते समाजग्मुर महीपालाः संप्रहृष्टा महाबलाः ॥ ५-५-१४ ॥
‘Responding to the summons of these lions of the Kuru race, as well as the two kings of the Matsyas and the Panchalas, many mighty lords of the earth, endowed with great strength, arrived at the place with cheerful hearts.’ ॥ 5-5-14 ॥

vacanAta kuru siMhAnAM matsyapAJcAlayòza ca te samAjagmura mahIpAlAH saMprahRSTA mahAbalAH ॥ 5-5-14 ॥
