Even after rendering service to the teacher, a wise person should not engage in disparaging talk, thinking, “I did this,” nor should one voice such claims. This is indeed the fourth “foot” of brahmacarya.
english translation
Living in this way, whatever wealth accrues should thereafter be offered to the teacher. Thus one attains the many-virtued conduct of the righteous; and this becomes the proper livelihood and discipline for the teacher’s son—that is, the student dwelling in the guru’s household.
english translation
Living thus, one prospers here in every way, gains many sons, and also attains social standing. The quarters and directions are said to ‘rain’ benefits upon him, and people dwell with him and support him when he abides in brahmacarya.
english translation
By this brahmacarya the gods attained godhood; and the great, discerning seers attained the world of Brahman.
english translation
Through this very discipline, the Gandharvas obtained beauty and the Apsarases their form; through this brahmacarya the Sun is born for the day, and the cosmic order is sustained.
