सर्वार्थानां व्याकरणाद्वैयाकरण उच्यते । प्रत्यक्षदर्शी लोकानां सर्वदर्शी भवेन्नरः॥५-४३-३६॥
Because he analyzes (vyākaraṇa) the meanings of all terms, he is called a grammarian (vaiyākaraṇa). But among people, one who sees directly becomes a ‘seer of all’—a person of comprehensive vision.
