Puru-jit and Kuntibhoja—an eminent archer of great might, Bhīmasena’s maternal uncle—is, in my judgment, an atiratha, a foremost chariot-warrior.

english translation

He is a hero, a distinguished archer—accomplished and highly skilled; adept in varied modes of combat and capable. In my view, he is a foremost chariot-warrior.

english translation

He will engage with decisive initiative, like Maghavān (Indra) against the Dānavas; and his fighters are well-known—each proficient in strategic engagement.

english translation

For the sake of his sister’s sons, that hero will undertake very significant action in the engagement; that king stands committed to what he deems beneficial and dear to the Pāṇḍavas.
