Kāśya, possessing exceptionally swift weapon-skill, is a praiseworthy and excellent chariot-warrior. In my assessment, he is a “one-degree” ratha, a conqueror of enemy strongholds.

english translation

And this young son of Drupada—Satyajit, famed in battle—should be regarded as an “eight-degree” ratha, distinguished for bold initiative in war.

english translation

Indeed, he has attained the rank of an atiratha, being comparable to Dhṛṣṭadyumna. Seeking the Pāṇḍavas’ renown, he will undertake an exceptional deed.

english translation

This other great ratha is devoted and courageous: the Pāṇḍya king, of mighty power, a principal bearer of the Pāṇḍavas’ burden.

english translation

Dṛḍhadhanvā, firm of bow, a great archer, is an excellent ratha of the Pāṇḍavas. And Śreṇimān, O best of the Kurus, as well as King Vasudāna—both these, in my judgment, are atirathas, O scorcher of foes.
