This chariot-warrior, O great king, is in my judgment a bull among men; for your sake, together with his troops, he will relinquish his life in the great battle.

english translation

This one is a bold combatant and, in battle, a versatile fighter; fearless too, O king, he will contend with your adversaries.

english translation

Bāhlīka is indeed an atiratha and one who does not withdraw in battle; in my judgment, O king, he is a hero of war, comparable in severity to Vaivasvata (Yama).

english translation

For once he reaches the engagement, he would not withdraw in any way; like a force ever pressing onward, O king, he does not cease in battle without first striking down his foes.

english translation

Your commander, O great king, is a truthful mahāratha; in battle he performs wondrous deeds—Ratha, the breaker of hostile chariots.
