A person who falls under the sway of intolerance and anger understands nothing; all established standards of judgment are severed—observe this, O Bhārata.

english translation

It is better for you, dear one, to associate with the Pāṇḍavas rather than with the wicked; for, being in concord with them, you will attain all desired ends.

english translation

Enjoying the territory won by the Pāṇḍavas, O best of kings, you turn the Pāṇḍavas away and yet hope for protection from elsewhere.

english translation

Relying for power upon Duḥśāsana, the hard-to-endure Durviṣaha, Karṇa, and Śakuni, you seek prosperity, O Bhārata.

english translation

And these allies of yours are not sufficient—neither in discernment of dharma and artha, nor in valor and strategy—when set against the Pāṇḍavas, O Bhārata.
