अदृश्यन्त्यां च वासिष्ठो वसिष्ठश्चाक्षमालया । च्यवनश्च सुकन्यायां पुलस्त्यः संध्यया यथा॥५-११५-११॥
As Vāsiṣṭha with Adṛśyantī; as Vasiṣṭha with Akṣamālā; as Cyavana with Sukanyā; and as Pulastya with Sandhyā—so was he with her.

अगस्त्यश्चापि वैदर्भ्यां सावित्र्यां सत्यवान्यथा । यथा भृगुः पुलोमायामदित्यां कश्यपो यथा॥५-११५-१२॥
As Agastya with the princess of Vidarbha; as Satyavān with Sāvitrī; as Bhṛgu with Pulomā; and as Kaśyapa with Aditi—so was he with her.

रेणुकायां यथार्चीको हैमवत्यां च कौशिकः । बृहस्पतिश्च तारायां शुक्रश्च शतपर्वया॥५-११५-१३॥
As Ṛcīka with Reṇukā; as Kauśika with Haimavatī; as Bṛhaspati with Tārā; and as Śukra with Śataparvā—so was he with her.

यथा भूम्यां भूमिपतिरुर्वश्यां च पुरूरवाः । ऋचीकः सत्यवत्यां च सरस्वत्यां यथा मनुः॥५-११५-१४॥
As the Lord of the Earth with the Earth; as Purūravas with Urvaśī; as Ṛcīka with Satyavatī; and as Manu with Sarasvatī—so was he with her.

तथा तु रममाणस्य दिवोदासस्य भूपतेः । माधवी जनयामास पुत्रमेकं प्रतर्दनम्॥५-११५-१५॥
Thus, while King Divodāsa was living in companionship, Mādhavī bore him a single son—Pratardana.
