सिन्धॊर च परभवं गत्वा सिद्धगन्धर्वसेवितम तत्रॊष्य रजनीः पञ्च विन्द्याद बहुसुवर्णकम ।। ३-८२-४१ ।।

sanskrit

'Next, one should proceed to Sindhu-prabhava, the source of the Indus, which is revered by Siddhas and Gandharvas. By staying there for five nights, one obtains the merit of bestowing gold in abundance.' ।। 3-82-41 ।।

english translation

sindhòra ca parabhavaM gatvA siddhagandharvasevitama tatròSya rajanIH paJca vindyAda bahusuvarNakama || 3-82-41 ||

अथ वेदीं समासाद्य नरः परमदुर्गमाम अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति गच्छेच चौशनसीं गतिम ।। ३-८२-४२ ।।

sanskrit

'Then, upon reaching the extremely difficult to attain altar, A man obtains the merit of an Ashwamedha sacrifice and attains the state of Ushanas.' ।। 3-82-42 ।।

english translation

atha vedIM samAsAdya naraH paramadurgamAma azvamedhama avApnòti gaccheca cauzanasIM gatima || 3-82-42 ||

ऋषिकुल्यां समासाद्य वासिष्ठं चैव भारत वासिष्ठं समतिक्रम्य सर्वे वर्णा दविजातयः ।। ३-८२-४३ ।।

sanskrit

'Then, O Bharata, one should proceed to Rishikulya and Vasishtha. By visiting the latter, all individuals achieve the state of Brahmanhood.' ।। 3-82-43 ।।

english translation

RSikulyAM samAsAdya vAsiSThaM caiva bhArata vAsiSThaM samatikramya sarve varNA davijAtayaH || 3-82-43 ||

ऋषिकुल्यां नरः सनात्वा ऋषिलॊकं परपद्यते यदि तत्र वसेन मासं शाकाहारॊ नराधिप ।। ३-८२-४४ ।।

'By journeying to Rishikulya and bathing there, while subsisting on herbs for a month and worshipping the gods and Pitris, one is cleansed of all sins and attains the realm of the Rishis.' ।। 3-82-44 ।।

RSikulyAM naraH sanAtvA RSilòkaM parapadyate yadi tatra vasena mAsaM zAkAhArò narAdhipa || 3-82-44 ||

भृगुतुङ्गं समासाद्य वाजिमेधफलं लभेत गत्वा वीर परमॊक्षं च सर्वपापैः परमुच्यते ।। ३-८२-४५ ।।

'Next, proceeding to Bhrigutunga, a person acquires the merit of the horse-sacrifice. After that, when he visits Vipramoksha, he is liberated from all sins.' ।। 3-82-45 ।।

bhRgutuGgaM samAsAdya vAjimedhaphalaM labheta gatvA vIra paramòkSaM ca sarvapApaiH paramucyate || 3-82-45 ||
