गङ्गा संगमयॊश चैव सनाति यः संगमे नरः दशाश्वमेधान आप्नॊति कुलं चैव समुद्धरेत ॥ ३-८२-३१ ॥
'Moreover, he who bathes at the confluence of the Ganga and the Yamuna attains the merit of ten horse-sacrifices and ensures the salvation of his lineage.' ॥ 3-82-31 ॥
english translation
ततॊ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र सुगन्धां लॊकविश्रुताम सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा बरह्मलॊके महीयते ॥ ३-८२-३२ ॥
'One should then, O king, journey to Sugandha, renowned throughout the world. Thereby, freed from all sins, he becomes honored in the abode of Brahma.' ॥ 3-82-32 ॥
english translation
रुद्रावर्तं ततॊ गच्छेत तीर्थसेवी नराधिप तत्र सनात्वा नरॊ राजन सवर्गलॊके महीयते ॥ ३-८२-३३ ॥
'Then, O lord of men, the pilgrim should proceed to Rudravarta. By bathing there, one ascends to the heavenly realms.' ॥ 3-82-33 ॥

गङ्गायाश च नरश्रेष्ठ सरस्वत्याश च संगमे सनातॊ ऽशवमेधम आप्नॊति सवर्गलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८२-३४ ॥
'By bathing at the sacred confluence of the Ganga and Saraswati, one attains the merit of the horse-sacrifice and ascends to the celestial realms.' ॥ 3-82-34 ॥

भद्र कर्णेश्वरं गत्वा देवम अर्च्य यथाविधि न दुर्गतिम अवाप्नॊति सवर्गलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८२-३५ ॥
'Next, by proceeding to Bhadrakarneswara and duly worshipping the deities, one remains free from distress and is revered in the heavenly realms.' ॥ 3-82-35 ॥
