तत्र विश्वेश्वरं दृष्ट्वा देव्या सह महाद्युतिम मित्रा वरुणयॊर लॊकान आप्नॊति पुरुषर्षभ ॥ ३-८२-११६ ॥

'By beholding the magnificent form of Visweswara with his divine consort, one, O bull among men, reaches the realm of Mitra-Varuna.' ।। 3-82-116 ।।

english translation

tatra vizvezvaraM dRSTvA devyA saha mahAdyutima mitrA varuNayòra lòkAna Apnòti puruSarSabha ॥ 3-82-116 ॥

कन्या संवेद्यम आसाद्य नियतॊ नियताशनः मनॊः परजापतेर लॊकान आप्नॊति भरतर्षभ ॥ ३-८२-११७ ॥

'By fasting for three nights at Kanya-samvedya, one attains the merit of the Agnishtoma sacrifice. With senses restrained and disciplined in diet, one, O bull among men, reaches the realm of Manu, the lord of creation.' ।। 3-82-117 ।।

kanyA saMvedyama AsAdya niyatò niyatAzanaH manòH parajApatera lòkAna Apnòti bharatarSabha ॥ 3-82-117 ॥

कन्यायां ये परयच्छन्ति पानम अन्नं च भारत तद अक्षयम इति पराहुर ऋषयः संशितव्रताः ॥ ३-८२-११८ ॥

'The sages with steadfast vows declare that one who donates rice or makes any offering at the tirtha known as Kanya ensures that such gifts are everlasting.' ।। 3-82-118 ।।

kanyAyAM ye parayacchanti pAnama annaM ca bhArata tada akSayama iti parAhura RSayaH saMzitavratAH ॥ 3-82-118 ॥

निश्चीरां च समासाद्य तरिषु लॊकेषु विश्रुताम अश्वमेधम अवाप्नॊति विष्णुलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८२-११९ ॥

'Upon reaching Nischira, renowned throughout the three worlds, one attains the merit of the Ashvamedha sacrifice and ascends to the realm of Vishnu.' ।। 3-82-119 ।।

nizcIrAM ca samAsAdya tariSu lòkeSu vizrutAma azvamedhama avApnòti viSNulòkaM ca gacchati ॥ 3-82-119 ॥

ये तु दानं परयच्छन्ति निश्चीरा संगमे नराः ते यान्ति नरशार्दूल बरह्मलॊकं न संशयः ॥ ३-८२-१२० ॥

'O king, those who make donations at the confluence of Nischira ascend to the blessed realm of Brahma.' ।। 3-82-120 ।।

ye tu dAnaM parayacchanti nizcIrA saMgame narAH te yAnti narazArdUla barahmalòkaM na saMzayaH ॥ 3-82-120 ॥
