कन्यायां ये परयच्छन्ति पानम अन्नं च भारत तद अक्षयम इति पराहुर ऋषयः संशितव्रताः ॥ ३-८२-११८ ॥
'The sages with steadfast vows declare that one who donates rice or makes any offering at the tirtha known as Kanya ensures that such gifts are everlasting.' ॥ 3-82-118 ॥
