चरुं नरेन्द्र सप्तार्चेर यथाशक्ति निवेदयेत पितॄणाम अक्षयं दानं परवदन्ति मनीषिणः ॥ ३-८०-१०६ ॥
'By performing the proper rites in the evening and bathing there, one should offer rice boiled in butter and milk to the deity of seven flames, according to his capacity. Wise men assert that a gift made here in honor of the Pitris becomes inexhaustible.' ॥ 3-80-106 ॥

गवां शतसहस्रेण राजसूय शतेन च अश्वमेध सहस्रेण शरेयान सप्तार्चिषश चरुः ॥ ३-८०-१०७ ॥
'The Rishis, the Pitris, the gods, the Gandharvas, various tribes of Apsaras, the Guhyakas, the Kinnaras, the Yakshas, the Siddhas, the Vidhyadharas, the Rakshasas, the Daityas, the Rudras, and even Brahma himself, O king, with subdued senses, undertook a thousand years of austerities to invoke the grace of Vishnu. They prepared rice cooked in milk and butter, and with reverence, they offered it to Kesava, each oblation accompanied by seven Riks.' ॥ 3-80-107 ॥

ततॊ निवृत्तॊ राजेन्द्र वस्त्रा पदम अथाविशेत अभिगम्य महादेवम अश्वमेध फलं लभेत ॥ ३-८०-१०८ ॥
'Leaving Vadava, O king, one should next journey to Raudrapada. By beholding Mahadeva there, one attains the merit equivalent to that of the horse-sacrifice.' ॥ 3-80-108 ॥

मणिमन्तं समासाद्य बरह्म चारी समाहितः एकरात्रॊषितॊ राजन्न अग्निष्टॊम फलं लभेत ॥ ३-८०-१०९ ॥
'Next, O king, by proceeding to Manimat with a subdued soul and leading a life of Brahmacharya, and by residing there for just one night, one attains the merit of the Agnishtoma sacrifice.' ॥ 3-80-109 ॥

अथ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र देविकां लॊकविश्रुताम परसूतिर यत्र विप्राणां शरूयते भरतर्षभ ॥ ३-८०-११० ॥
'One should then, O king, proceed to Devika, renowned throughout the world. It is said that there, O bull of the Bharata race, the Brahmanas first came into being.' ॥ 3-80-110 ॥
