चरुं नरेन्द्र सप्तार्चेर यथाशक्ति निवेदयेत पितॄणाम अक्षयं दानं परवदन्ति मनीषिणः ।। ३-८०-१०६ ।।

sanskrit

'By performing the proper rites in the evening and bathing there, one should offer rice boiled in butter and milk to the deity of seven flames, according to his capacity. Wise men assert that a gift made here in honor of the Pitris becomes inexhaustible.' ।। 3-80-106 ।।

english translation

caruM narendra saptArcera yathAzakti nivedayeta pitRRNAma akSayaM dAnaM paravadanti manISiNaH || 3-80-106 ||
