यत स पुष्पाण्य उपादाय हस्ताभ्यां ममृदे शनैः मृद्यमानानि पाणिभ्यां तेन पुष्पाणि तान्य अथ ॥ ३-७३-१६ ॥
'He took up some flowers and began to press them gently with his hands. Yet, instead of losing their original forms, the flowers became even more vibrant and fragrant.' ॥ 3-73-16 ॥

भूय एव सुगन्धीनि हृषितानि भवन्ति च एतान्य अद्भुतकल्पानि दृष्ट्वाहं दरुतम आगता ॥ ३-७३-१७ ॥
'Having witnessed such wonders, I have come here in haste.' ॥ 3-73-17 ॥

बृहदश्व उवाच दमयन्ती तु तच छरुत्वा पुण्यश्लॊकस्य चेष्टितम अमन्यत नलं पराप्तं कर्मचेष्टाभिसूचितम ॥ ३-७३-१८ ॥
'Bṛhadaśva continued, 'Upon hearing of these deeds of the virtuous Nala and recognizing him through his behavior, Damayantī believed he had fully regained his former self.'' ॥ 3-73-18 ॥

सा शङ्कमाना भर्तारं नलं बाहुकरूपिणम केशिनीं शलक्ष्णया वाचा रुदती पुनर अब्रवीत ॥ ३-७३-१९ ॥
'And sensing from these signs that Vahuka was her husband, Damayantī once more addressed Keśinī tearfully, speaking in gentle words.' ॥ 3-73-19 ॥

पुनर गच्छ परमत्तस्य बाहुकस्यॊपसंस्कृतम महानसाच छृतं मांसं समादायैहि भामिनि ॥ ३-७३-२० ॥
'Go again, O beautiful woman, and bring the well-prepared meat cooked by the skilled Bahuka from the kitchen.' ॥ 3-73-20 ॥
