सा गत्वा बाहुके वयग्रे तन मांसम अपकृष्य च अत्युष्णम एव तवरिता तत्क्षणं परियकारिणी दमयन्त्यै ततः परादात केशिनी कुरुनन्दन ॥ ३-७३-२१ ॥
'Obeying Damayantī's command, Keśinī, ever eager to please her, swiftly went to Vāhuka, took some of the hot meat, and returned without delay.' ॥ 3-73-21 ॥
english translation
sA gatvA bAhuke vayagre tana mAMsama apakRSya ca atyuSNama eva tavaritA tatkSaNaM pariyakAriNI damayantyai tataH parAdAta kezinI kurunandana ॥ 3-73-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसॊचिता नलसिद्धस्य मांसस्य बहुशः पुरा पराश्य मत्वा नलं सूदं पराक्रॊशद भृशदुःखिता ॥ ३-७३-२२ ॥
'And Keśinī gave that meat to Damayantī, O son of the Kuru race. Damayantī, who had often enjoyed meat prepared by Nala, tasted the meat brought by her handmaid. Upon doing so, she concluded that Vāhuka was indeed Nala and wept aloud, overwhelmed with grief.' ॥ 3-73-22 ॥

sòcitA nalasiddhasya mAMsasya bahuzaH purA parAzya matvA nalaM sUdaM parAkròzada bhRzaduHkhitA ॥ 3-73-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवैक्लव्यं च परं गत्वा परक्षाल्य च मुखं ततः मिथुनं परेषयाम आस केशिन्या सह भारत ॥ ३-७३-२३ ॥
'And, O Bharata, overwhelmed with grief, she washed her face and sent her two children with Keśinī.' ॥ 3-73-23 ॥

vaiklavyaM ca paraM gatvA parakSAlya ca mukhaM tataH mithunaM pareSayAma Asa kezinyA saha bhArata ॥ 3-73-23 ॥

'And Vāhuka, the king in disguise, recognizing Indrasenā with her brother, approached hastily and, embracing them, lifted them onto his lap.' ॥ 3-73-24 ॥

indrasenAM saha bharAtrA samabhijJAya bAhukaH abhidrutya tatò rAjapariSvajyAGkama Anayata ॥ 3-73-24 ॥

'Taking his children, who resembled the offspring of the celestials, he began to weep aloud in mournful tones, his heart heavy with deep sorrow.' ॥ 3-73-25 ॥
