पाञ्चालीं चाहुर अक्लिष्टां वासुदेवस्य शृण्वतः दुर्यॊधनस तव करॊधाद देवि तयक्ष्यति जीवितम परतिजानीम ते सत्यं मा शुचॊ वरवर्णिनि ॥ ३-४८-३१ ॥
'And they spoke to Draupadi, of pure deeds, in the presence of Vasudeva: 'O lady, due to your anger, Duryodhana shall lose his life. We promise this to you, O fairest one. Therefore, do not grieve any longer.'' ॥ 3-48-31 ॥
english translation
ये सम ते कुपितां कृष्णे दृष्ट्वा तवां पराहसंस तदा मांसानि तेषां खादन्तॊ हसिष्यन्ति मृगद्विजाः ॥ ३-४८-३२ ॥
'O Krishna, those who mocked you upon seeing your defeat at dice shall face the consequences of their actions. Beasts of prey and birds will consume their flesh and mock them in turn.' ॥ 3-48-32 ॥
english translation
पास्यन्ति रुधिरं तेषां गृध्रा गॊमायवस तथा उत्तमाङ्गानि कर्षन्तॊ यैस तवं कृष्टा सभा तले ॥ ३-४८-३३ ॥
'The vultures and jackals will drink the blood of those Whose heads you will drag across the floor of the assembly hall.' ॥ 3-48-33 ॥
english translation
तेषां दरक्ष्यसि पाञ्चालि गात्राणि पृथिवीतले करव्यादैः कृष्यमाणानि भक्ष्यमाणानि चासकृत ॥ ३-४८-३४ ॥
'O Panchali, you will see their bodies on the ground, Being dragged and repeatedly devoured by beasts of prey.' ॥ 3-48-34 ॥

परिक्लिष्टासि यैस तत्र यैश चापि समुपेक्षिता तेषाम उत्कृत्त शिरसां भूमिः पास्यति शॊणितम ॥ ३-४८-३५ ॥
'Those who caused you pain and disregarded you shall lie on the earth, headless, and the earth herself shall drink their blood.' ॥ 3-48-35 ॥
