पुण्यकीर्ती राजपुत्री दरौपदी वीरसूर इयम विश्रुता कथम अज्ञाता कृष्णा पार्थ चरिश्यति ॥ ३-३६-२६ ॥
'And how, O son of Pritha, will Draupadi, a princess of noble deeds known throughout the world, remain unknown?' ॥ 3-36-26 ॥
english translation
मां चापि राजञ जानन्ति आकुमारम इमाः परजाः अज्ञातचर्यां पश्यामि मेरॊर इव निगूहनम ॥ ३-३६-२७ ॥
'Everyone has known me since my youth, and I cannot see how I can remain hidden. It is as impractical as attempting to conceal the mighty Meru mountains.' ॥ 3-36-27 ॥
english translation
तथैव बहवॊ ऽसमाभी राष्ट्रेभ्यॊ विप्रवासिताः राजानॊ राजपुत्राश च धृतराष्ट्रम अनुव्रताः ॥ ३-३६-२८ ॥
'Furthermore, many kings, driven from their realms by us, have been expelled and robbed. These kings and princes will certainly align with the wicked son of Dhritarashtra, as they remain hostile rather than reconciled.' ॥ 3-36-28 ॥
english translation
न हि ते ऽपय उपशाम्यन्ति निकृतानां निराकृताः अवश्यं तैर निकर्तव्यम अस्माकं तत्प्रियैषिभिः ॥ ३-३६-२९ ॥
'Indeed, the suppressed desires of those who have been deceived do not subside. Those who seek our welfare must inevitably take revenge on them.' ॥ 3-36-29 ॥
english translation
ते ऽपय अस्मासु परयुञ्जीरन परच्छन्नान सुबहूञ जनान आचक्षीरंश च नॊ जञात्वा तन नः सयात सुमहद भयम ॥ ३-३६-३० ॥
'They will deploy numerous spies in disguise against us. . If these discover us and report their discovery, a great danger will overtake us.' ॥ 3-36-30 ॥
