तवत्कृते तान परधक्ष्यामि सर्वान अपि न संशयः पितरं चैव ते मूढं यॊ न वेत्ति तवानयम ॥ ३-२९०-१६ ॥
'For your sake, I would circumambulate them all — of that, there is no doubt. Even your foolish father, who fails to recognize your worth, I would honour likewise.' ॥ 3-290-16 ॥
english translation
तस्य च बराह्मणस्याद्य यॊ ऽसौ मन्त्रम अदात तव शीलवृत्तम अविज्ञाय धास्यामि विनयं परम ॥ ३-२९०-१७ ॥
'And that Brahmana who today gave you the mantra — Without knowing his character and conduct, shall I show him the utmost reverence?' ॥ 3-290-17 ॥
english translation
एते हि विबुधाः सर्वे पुरंदर मुखा दिवि तवया परलब्धं पश्यन्ति समयन्त इव भामिनि ॥ ३-२९०-१८ ॥
'Yonder are all the celestials in heaven, with Purandara (Indra) at their head, gazing at me with derisive smiles — for I have been deceived by you, O proud lady!' ॥ 3-290-18 ॥
english translation
पश्य चैनान सुरगणान दिव्यं चक्षुर इदं हि ते पूर्वम एव मया दत्तं दृष्टवत्य असि येन माम ॥ ३-२९०-१९ ॥
'Look upon those celestials now, for you have been granted divine sight! It was I who previously endowed you with celestial vision — through which you were able to see me.' ॥ 3-290-19 ॥

[वै] ततॊ ऽपश्यत तरिदशान राजपुत्री; सर्वान एव सवेषु धिष्ण्येषु खस्थान परभासन्तं भानुमन्तं महान्तं; यथादित्यं रॊचमानं तथैव ॥ ३-२९०-२० ॥
'Vaiśampāyana continued: "Thereupon the princess beheld the celestials standing in the heavens, each occupying his own divine station, even as she beheld before her that radiant and resplendent deity, Surya himself, blazing with his rays."' ॥ 3-290-20 ॥
