इत्य उच्यमानः पार्थेन सैधवॊ न नयवर्तत तिष्ठ तिष्ठेति तं भीमः सहसाभ्यद्रवद बली मा वधीर इति पार्थस तं दयावान अभ्यभाषत ।। ३-२५५-५९ ।।

sanskrit

'Though urged by the sons of Pritha, the Sindhu prince did not turn back even once. Then, as the mighty Bhima swiftly caught up with him, Arjuna, moved by compassion, entreated him not to slay the wretch.' ।। 3-255-59 ।।

english translation

itya ucyamAnaH pArthena saidhavò na nayavartata tiSTha tiSTheti taM bhImaH sahasAbhyadravada balI mA vadhIra iti pArthasa taM dayAvAna abhyabhASata || 3-255-59 ||
