यद्य एव देवी पृथिवीं परविष्टा; दिवं परपन्नाप्य अथ वा समुद्रम तस्या गमिष्यन्ति पदं हि पार्थास; तथा हि संतप्यति धर्मराजः ॥ ३-२५३-१२ ॥
'So deep is the anxiety of Dharma’s son that if the princess has vanished into the earth, soared to the heavens, or plunged into the ocean’s depths, he and his brothers will surely follow her there.' ॥ 3-253-12 ॥
