जनार्दनस्यानुगा वृष्णिवीरा; महेष्वासाः केकयाश चापि सर्वे एते हि सर्वे मम राजपुत्राः; परहृष्टरूपाः पदवीं चरेयुः ॥ ३-२५२-१६ ॥
'The warring princes of the Andhaka and Vrishni races, with Janardana at their head, along with the mighty archers of the Kaikeya tribe, will all follow in my wake with great zeal.' ॥ 3-252-16 ॥

मौर्वी विसृष्टाः सतनयित्नुघॊषा; गाण्डीवमुक्तास तव अतिवेगवन्तः हस्तं समाहत्य धनंजयस्य; भीमाः शब्दं घॊरतरं नदन्ति ॥ ३-२५२-१७ ॥
'Like thunderclaps, released from the bowstring (Maurvi), Shot from Gandiva (bow) with tremendous speed, Striking against Dhananjaya's (Arjuna's) hand, These terrible arrows make a most fearsome sound.' ॥ 3-252-17 ॥

गाण्डीवमुक्तांश च महाशरौघान; पतंगसंघान इव शीघ्रवेगान सशङ्खघॊषः सतलत्र घॊषॊ; गाण्डीवधन्वा मुहुर उद्वमंश च यदा शरान अर्पयिता तवॊरसि; तदा मनस ते किम इवाभविष्यत ॥ ३-२५२-१८ ॥
'When you behold Arjuna shooting from the Gandiva a dense swarm of mighty arrows, like a flight of locusts, you will surely regret your folly! Think of what you will feel when that warrior, armed with the Gandiva, blowing his conch-shell, and with the thrum of his bowstring echoing, will repeatedly pierce your breast with his shafts.' ॥ 3-252-18 ॥

गदाहस्तं भीमम अभिद्रवन्तं; माद्रीपुत्रौ संपतन्तौ दिशश च अमर्षजं करॊधविषं वमन्तौ; दृष्ट्वा चिरं तापम उपैष्यसे ऽधम ॥ ३-२५२-१९ ॥
'When Bhima advances towards you, mace in hand, and the two sons of Madri range in all directions, spewing forth the venom of their wrath, you will then experience deep regret, the pangs of which will endure forever.' ॥ 3-252-19 ॥
english translation
यथा चाहं नातिचरे कथं चित; पतीन महार्हान मनसापि जातु तेनाद्य सत्येन वशीकृतं तवां; दरष्टास्मि पार्थैः परिकृष्यमाणम ॥ ३-२५२-२० ॥
'As I have never been false to my noble lords, even in thought, so by that virtue, I shall now have the pleasure of witnessing you vanquished and dragged away by the sons of Pritha.' ॥ 3-252-20 ॥
