सेना जीवाश च ये राज्ञां विषये सन्ति मानवाः तैः संगम्य नृपार्थाय यतितव्यं यथातथम ॥ ३-२३८-४१ ॥
'Those who lead the profession of arms and reside in the king's realm should always unite and exert themselves to the best of their ability, for the king.' ॥ 3-238-41 ॥
english translation
senA jIvAza ca ye rAjJAM viSaye santi mAnavAH taiH saMgamya nRpArthAya yatitavyaM yathAtathama ॥ 3-238-41 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयद्य एवं पाण्डवै राजन भवद्विषयवासिभिः यदृच्छया मॊक्षितॊ ऽदय तत्र का परिदेवना ॥ ३-२३८-४२ ॥
'If, therefore, O king, the Pandavas, who reside in the territories, have liberated thee, what is there to regret in this?' ॥ 3-238-42 ॥
english translation
yadya evaM pANDavai rAjana bhavadviSayavAsibhiH yadRcchayA mòkSitò 'daya tatra kA paridevanA ॥ 3-238-42 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन चैतत साधु यद राजन पाण्डवास तवां नृपॊत्तम सवसेनया संप्रयान्तं नानुयान्ति सम पृष्ठतः ॥ ३-२३८-४३ ॥
'O king, it is not proper that the Pandavas, O best of rulers, do not pursue you from behind with their entire army as you depart.' ॥ 3-238-43 ॥
english translation
na caitata sAdhu yada rAjana pANDavAsa tavAM nRpòttama savasenayA saMprayAntaM nAnuyAnti sama pRSThataH ॥ 3-238-43 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशूराश च बलवन्तश च संयुगेष्व अपलायिनः भवतस ते सभायां वै परेष्यतां पूर्वम आगताः ॥ ३-२३८-४४ ॥
'Brave and powerful warriors who never flee in battle have come before you in this assembly to serve as servants.' ॥ 3-238-44 ॥

zUrAza ca balavantaza ca saMyugeSva apalAyinaH bhavatasa te sabhAyAM vai pareSyatAM pUrvama AgatAH ॥ 3-238-44 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपाण्डवेयानि रत्नानि तवम अद्याप्य उपभुञ्जसे सत्त्वस्थान पाण्डवान पश्य न ते परायम उपाविशन उत्तिष्ठ राजन भद्रं ते न चिन्तां कर्तुम अर्हसि ॥ ३-२३८-४५ ॥
'You are currently enjoying all the great possessions of the Pandavas. Look, O King, they are still alive! They have not chosen to die by forsaking all sustenance. Blessed be you! Rise up, O King!' ॥ 3-238-45 ॥

pANDaveyAni ratnAni tavama adyApya upabhuJjase sattvasthAna pANDavAna pazya na te parAyama upAvizana uttiSTha rAjana bhadraM te na cintAM kartuma arhasi ॥ 3-238-45 ॥
