वरतचर्या तपॊ वापि सनानमन्त्रौषधानि वा विद्या वीर्यं मूलवीर्यं जपहॊमस तथागदाः ।। ३-२२२-६ ।।

sanskrit

'Is it through the observance of vows, ascetic practices, or the use of incantations and medicinal herbs during your sacred baths? Or is it the power of knowledge, the charm of youthful beauty, the recitation of sacred formulas, the performance of homa, or the application of collyrium and other remedies?' ।। 3-222-6 ।।

varatacaryA tapò vApi sanAnamantrauSadhAni vA vidyA vIryaM mUlavIryaM japahòmasa tathAgadAH || 3-222-6 ||

'O Satyabhāmā, you have asked me about the practices of wicked women. How can I, O lady, answer you regarding the path followed by those of unrighteous ways?' ।। 3-222-9 ।।

'It does not befit you, O lady, to continue with such inquiries or doubt me further, for you are endowed with wisdom and are the beloved wife of Krishna.' ।। 3-222-10 ।।

anupraznaH saMzayò vA naitata tavayya upapadyate tathA haya upetA buddhyA tavaM kRSTasya mahiSI pariyA || 3-222-10 ||
