कद्रूः सूक्ष्मवपुर भूत्वा गर्भिणीं परविशेद यदा भुङ्क्ते सा तत्र तं गर्भं सा तु नागं परसूयते ।। ३-२१९-३६ ।।

'Kadru, in a subtle form, enters the body of a pregnant woman, where she causes the destruction of the fetus, leading the mother to give birth to a Naga (serpent).' ।। 3-219-36 ।।

kadrUH sUkSmavapura bhUtvA garbhiNIM paravizeda yadA bhuGkte sA tatra taM garbhaM sA tu nAgaM parasUyate || 3-219-36 ||
