पुरुषेषु यथा रुद्रस तथार्या परमदास्व अपि आर्या माता कुमारस्य पृथक कामार्थम इज्यते ॥ ३-२१९-४० ॥
'The noble one plays the same role among women as Rudra does among men. She is the mother of all children and is distinctly worshipped for their welfare.' ॥ 3-219-40 ॥
