विनता तु महारौद्रा कथ्यते शकुनिग्रहः पूतनां राक्षसीं पराहुस तं विद्यात पूतना गरहम ।। ३-२१९-२६ ।।

sanskrit

'Vinata, on the other hand, is recognized as the dreadful Sakuni Graha, the spirit of evil. She who is known as the demoness Putana among the learned is identified as the graha called Putana.' ।। 3-219-26 ।।

english translation

vinatA tu mahAraudrA kathyate zakunigrahaH pUtanAM rAkSasIM parAhusa taM vidyAta pUtanA garahama || 3-219-26 ||
