विनता तु महारौद्रा कथ्यते शकुनिग्रहः पूतनां राक्षसीं पराहुस तं विद्यात पूतना गरहम ॥ ३-२१९-२६ ॥
'Vinata, on the other hand, is recognized as the dreadful Sakuni Graha, the spirit of evil. She who is known as the demoness Putana among the learned is identified as the graha called Putana.' ॥ 3-219-26 ॥

कष्टा दारुणरूपेण घॊररूपा निशाचरी पिशाची दारुणाकारा कथ्यते शीतपूतना गर्भान सा मानुषीणां तु हरते घॊरदर्शना ॥ ३-२१९-२७ ॥
'The terrible and cruel night-wandering demoness, The horrific Pishachi (female demon) of terrible form is described, She, with a horrifying appearance, steals the fetuses of women.' ॥ 3-219-27 ॥

अदितिं रेवतीं पराहुर गरहस तस्यास तु रैवतः सॊ ऽपि बालाञ शिशून घॊरॊ बाधते वै महाग्रहः ॥ ३-२१९-२८ ॥
'Aditi, also known as Revati, has an evil spirit called Raivata, which also afflicts children. This terrifying and mighty graha also torments children, causing great distress.' ॥ 3-219-28 ॥

दैत्यानां या दितिर माता ताम आहुर मुखमण्डिकाम अत्यर्थं शिशुमांसेन संप्रहृष्टा दुरासदा ॥ ३-२१९-२९ ॥
'Diti, the mother of the Daityas (Asuras), is known as Muhkamandika, and this terrible creature is particularly drawn to the flesh of young children.' ॥ 3-219-29 ॥

कुमाराश च कुमार्यश च ये परॊक्ताः सकन्द संभवाः ते ऽपि गर्भभुजः सर्वे कौरव्य सुमहाग्रहाः ॥ ३-२१९-३० ॥
'Those male and female children, O Kaurava, who are said to have been begotten by Skanda, are spirits of evil, and they destroy the fetus in the womb.' ॥ 3-219-30 ॥
