दैत्यानां या दितिर माता ताम आहुर मुखमण्डिकाम अत्यर्थं शिशुमांसेन संप्रहृष्टा दुरासदा ॥ ३-२१९-२९ ॥

'Diti, the mother of the Daityas (Asuras), is known as Muhkamandika, and this terrible creature is particularly drawn to the flesh of young children.' ।। 3-219-29 ।।
