पक्वाशयस तव अधॊ नाभ्या ऊर्ध्वम आमाशयः सथितः नाभिमध्ये शरीरस्य पराणाः सर्वे परतिष्ठिताः ॥ ३-२०३-२६ ॥
'The digestive system is situated below the navel, while the stomach (the upper digestive system) is located above. The Prāṇas (vital airs) are established at the center of the body, in the region of the navel.' ॥ 3-203-26 ॥

pakvAzayasa tava adhò nAbhyA Urdhvama AmAzayaH sathitaH nAbhimadhye zarIrasya parANAH sarve paratiSThitAH ॥ 3-203-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरवृत्ता हृदयात सर्वास तिर्यग ऊर्ध्वम अधस तथा वहन्त्य अन्नरसान नाड्यॊ दश पराणप्रचॊदिताः ॥ ३-२०३-२७ ॥
'The arteries issuing from the heart run upwards, downwards, and in oblique directions. They carry the finest essence of our food and are influenced by the ten Prāṇa airs.' ॥ 3-203-27 ॥

paravRttA hRdayAta sarvAsa tiryaga Urdhvama adhasa tathA vahantya annarasAna nADyò daza parANapracòditAH ॥ 3-203-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयॊगिनाम एष मार्गस तु येन गच्छन्ति तत्परम जितक्लमासना धीरा मूर्धन्य आत्मानम आदधुः एवं सर्वेषु विततौ पराणापानौ हि देहिषु ॥ ३-२०३-२८ ॥
'This is the way by which patient yogis, who have overcome all difficulties and view things with an impartial and equal eye, with their souls seated in the brain, find the Supreme Spirit. The Prāṇa and Apāna airs are thus present in the body of all creatures.' ॥ 3-203-28 ॥

yòginAma eSa mArgasa tu yena gacchanti tatparama jitaklamAsanA dhIrA mUrdhanya AtmAnama AdadhuH evaM sarveSu vitatau parANApAnau hi dehiSu ॥ 3-203-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएकादश विकारात्मा कला संभारसंभृतः मूर्तिमन्तं हि तं विद्धि नित्यं कर्म जितात्मकम ॥ ३-२०३-२९ ॥
Having eleven modifications, the body is a collection of elements and their transformations. Know that the one who has conquered actions and is endowed with a steady nature is the embodiment of the eternal and the form of the Supreme.' ॥ 3-203-29 ॥

ekAdaza vikArAtmA kalA saMbhArasaMbhRtaH mUrtimantaM hi taM viddhi nityaM karma jitAtmakama ॥ 3-203-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्मिन यः संस्थितॊ हय अग्निर नित्यं सथाल्यम इवाहितः आत्मानं तं विजानीहि नित्यं यॊगजितात्मकम ॥ ३-२०३-३० ॥
'Know that the spirit, just like the fire, is ever-present within the body, constantly burning in its vessel. It is to be recognized as the eternal self, one who has mastered yoga and is established in the nature of self-control.' ॥ 3-203-30 ॥

tasmina yaH saMsthitò haya agnira nityaM sathAlyama ivAhitaH AtmAnaM taM vijAnIhi nityaM yògajitAtmakama ॥ 3-203-30 ॥
