दद्यां वित्तं दविजाग्र्येभ्यः शत्रूणां चापि दुर्जयः सख्यं च विष्णुना मे सयाद भूतेष्व अद्रॊह एव च धर्मे रतिश च सततं सवर्गे वासस तथाक्षयः ।। ३-१९५-३१ ।।

sanskrit

'Let me always have the power to bestow wealth upon the foremost Brahmanas! Let me be invincible against all my enemies! Let there be eternal friendship between Vishnu and me! Let me harbor no ill will towards any creature! May my heart be ever devoted to righteousness! And finally, let me dwell in heaven forever!' ।। 3-195-31 ।।

english translation

dadyAM vittaM davijAgryebhyaH zatrUNAM cApi durjayaH sakhyaM ca viSNunA me sayAda bhUteSva adròha eva ca dharme ratiza ca satataM savarge vAsasa tathAkSayaH || 3-195-31 ||

'Thus, after being addressed by the pleased gods, the king, accompanied by the sages and Gandharvas, along with the wise Utanka, was honored and praised.' ।। 3-195-32 ।।

'And, O Yudhishthira, after the destruction of all his sons, King Kuvalaswa was left with three sons, O scion of the Bharata race. They were named Dṛḍhāśva, Kapilāśva, and Candraśva. It is from these sons, O king, that the illustrious lineage of Ikṣvāku, renowned for its boundless might, has arisen.' ।। 3-195-34 ।।

tasya putrAsa tarayaH ziSTA yudhiSThira tadAbhavana dRDhAzvaH kapilAzvaza ca candrAzvaza caiva bhArata tebhyaH paramparA rAjanna ikSvAkUNAM mahAtmanAma || 3-195-34 ||

'It was thus, O best of kings, that the mighty Daitya Dhundhu, the son of Madhu and Kaitabha, was slain by King Kuvalaswa.' ।। 3-195-35 ।।

evaM sa nihatasa tena kuvalAzvena sattama dhundhura daityò mahAvIryò madhukaiTabhayòH sutaH || 3-195-35 ||
