[म-क] अनृतं नॊक्तपूर्वं नौ सवैरेष्व अपि कुतॊ ऽनयथा सत्ये धर्मे च निरतौ विद्ध्य आवां पुरुषॊत्तम ॥ ३-१९४-२३ ॥

'Hearing these words of the Deity, both Madhu and Kaitabha replied, "We have never spoken a falsehood before, not even in jest; how then could it be in other circumstances! O foremost of all beings, know that we have always remained steadfast in truth and righteousness."' ।। 3-194-23 ।।

english translation

[ma-ka] anRtaM nòktapUrvaM nau savaireSva api kutò 'nayathA satye dharme ca niratau viddhya AvAM puruSòttama ॥ 3-194-23 ॥
